Primarily, I’m a corporate refugee with lavish dreams of being an effortless homemaker who runs a handful of vanity businesses while earning a motley collection of Master’s degrees. I frequently find myself immersed in random mini-obsessions, spending hours researching something just because it occurred to me. I never fail to be shocked when I see a photograph of myself, because I don’t feel like I’m that big. I have more celebrity crushes than any person on this side of 35 has a right to, and I spend a fair amount of time trying to convince myself of all the ways in which I’m freakin’ amazing because my general inclination is to bully and criticize myself straight into a 36-hour bender of no-sleep escapism by way of Hulu.
